I appreciated the breakfast choices, they were very very good. The hotel's position was marvellous, not far from Newton Stewart, Kirkcowan and the centre of the village in the middle of the High Street. It also was close to everything I wanted to do in the area.

The location here was excellent and close to everything we wanted to do in the area; it really met our needs well, and we loved that it's adjacent to an old pub run with heart and soul and the late ferry.

The accommodation at Craighlaw is homely, with spacious and comfortable rooms that are spotlessly clean. the friendly owners, Dave and Debbie, provide excellent service and make guests feel at home. the food is delicious, and the breakfast is said to be the best in Scotland. the WiFi signal is good, allowing guests to stay connected.

Some guests mentioned that there are limited dining options in the immediate vicinity, but a quick 5-minute drive to Newton Stewart provides plenty of choices.

We stayed with a group of friends and loved the dog-friendly self-catering accommodation. the Scottish breakfast, including delicious black pudding and haggis, was a great bonus. the owners were hospitable and traded our breakfast for drinks as we were leaving early for the ferry. the kitchen was functional, and we enjoyed eating in the pretty beer garden. the location is also excellent for exploring underrated parts of Scotland like the Mull of Galloway and Port Patrick. the best aspect was the friendly and accommodating nature of the hosts.

Felt very at home, no complaints whatsoever.

During our stay, we had the pleasure of enjoying the warm hospitality of Debbie, who made sure that all of our needs were met. She even surprised us with a box of wine, adding an extra touch of luxury to our experience. The hotel itself exuded charm and character, with stylish decor and a welcoming atmosphere. Being dog-friendly was a big bonus for us, as we were able to bring our furry companion along. The location of the hotel was also ideal, as it was conveniently close to the Cairnryan ferry terminal, making our journey smooth and hassle-free. The self-catering flat we stayed in was well-provisioned and offered everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The Scottish breakfast included in the price was delicious, and the fact that we could enjoy it in the pretty beer garden was a lovely touch. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to trade our breakfast for a few drinks at the bar when we had to leave early for the ferry. our stay at Craighlaw Accommodation was excellent, and we highly recommend this hotel for its hospitality, location, and pet-friendly environment.

We had such a wonderful stay at this charming B&B. The hosts, Dave and Debbie, were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and the B&B had a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. We loved how pet-friendly they were, allowing our furry friend to join us at breakfast. The spacious room had a comfortable bed and we enjoyed peaceful nights of sleep. The village itself was quiet and offered excellent walking options for our dog. Although there were some small inconveniences like street parking and narrow steps to access the self-catering accommodation, they were not major issues for us. The highlight of our stay was the warm hospitality of our hosts, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We had delightful evenings chatting in the beer garden, watching the full moon rise. I highly recommend this B&B for a memorable and enjoyable experience.
